What is Reiki?
Simply put, Reiki is life itself.
All living things have Reiki. It flows with every inhale and goes with every exhale. It is the energy within and with out, inside and outside,
As above, so below
As a Reiki Master, I have dedicated my life to Anshin Ritsumei which means, “a life supported by a peaceful mind,” this is the central focus of Usui Sensei, the grandmaster of my Reiki lineage.
Union with source has been the chief aim of nearly all religions. System after system have been developed, and history has suffered nearly every plight ever let loose from Pandora’s box. Secrecy and the illusion of scarcity burdened this noble aim and shrouded the magic within each of us to embody the consciousness of healing, of miracles, of Christ, Budda, Guru, Sage, Enlightened One…
It was known by Usui Sensi that uniting ones personal Reiki with the universal Reiki not only brought about the illusive Anshin-Ritsume but also a miraculous healing power. This union creates a generates a harmonious and pure healing energy that can be shared with others primarily via the hands, mouth, and eyes. The practice of sharing this medicine is commonly referred to as “Reiki.”
Proper intention and preparation allow for the overflow generated from uniting ones personal reiki with the universal reiki to fill the body of another. Deep physical relaxation helps to allow the patient to experience subtly the harmonies of their internal reiki meeting both the internal reiki of their healer and the universal reiki they are channeling.
Usui Sensei developed the Usui Reiki Ryoho to share this miraculous healing gift with his fellow human beings and initiated an entire lineage of healers all over the globe.
The frequency carried by each human is unique in its expression, Reiki deepens trust in that expression and can only strengthen that connection. Reiki can do no harm.
The recent interest in the subject of holistic healing and eastern medicine have made Reiki more popular in the last few years, especially in the west, where the benefits of eastern medicine have yet to be fully recognized as “professional medicine.”
With this translation from east to west, much of the circulating Reiki curriculum is unquestioned and sometimes even lacking in very basic information. This loss of essence is natural and does not offend me in the slightest. I am much more concerned with connecting with the consciousness of those who like to “see for yourself and know for yourself.”
I encourage you to read my story and dive into my archive, if something resonates within you, I also encourage you to reach out. I have had the great pleasure of working with an assortment of patients from college dropout to CEO, children to elders, animals, and event plants.
Reiki is alive.
The law states that you get what you give.
And I choose to give Reiki.
Reiki has improved many peoples lives and will only become more popular as it’s results are shared by happy and healthy people.
